South India through the Chakras 2024
Testimonials

“I consider India a special place for I had been there many years before.  Only when I joined the journey with Christine that India became epic.  India touches a part of you that you didn’t know was there.  The trip was structured with such finesse and loaded with information that I felt like I didn’t want to miss anything.  We started with ancient temple walks, Pooja ceremonies and visiting beautiful churches. On those walks, one could get a true feeling of ancient India coupled with modern inspirations.  I felt blessed.  The next part of the journey focused on nature, tea and rubber plantations visits, spice gardens that challenged your taste buds and nostrils, silk weaving and cooking demonstrations were interwoven.  It was intriguing. The last part of the journey was restful and calm in a fabulous resort overlooking a beautiful lake with sunset cruises, fabulous food and lovely entertainment. Christine fulfilled a Southern Indian experience over 15 days that led you wanting more and to stay just a bit longer.  I feel blessed to have been a part of this wonderful spiritual journey. I learned more about India than I could’ve ever learned from a book.  I could actually smell, taste and breathe the country on this journey.  Thank you for a wonderful, deep, inspired, journey.”

“Visiting India has been on my "bucket list" for about a decade. However, with Christine at the helm and Charles, friend and tour guide, along with her best friend, husband John, it turned out to be much more than a VISIT. Quickly I felt immersed in a grand experience. Days were exciting and exhausting.
Bathing with an elephant struck my giggly cord, the temples struck my heart, and the tongue drum I purchased from a zealous entrepreneur made me smile. I found the people of Tamil Nadu and Kerala to be kind. Even without words their eyes, smiles, and body language offered kindness so freely.

Christine brought together a group of travelers, including my dear friend.  We all seemed to click in one way or the other. Our bus driver and assistant who got us to our destinations safely were a treasure. The accommodations were magnificent and offered Ayurvedic massage.

India opened passages in my heart that I didn't know existed. I found it confounding and comforting at the same time. It is amazing how things in India just flow, including the traffic!

The closing ceremony was an opportunity for me to open my heart and pour out what I needed to leave behind. But what I brought home with me was much greater and will never be forgotten. Thank you Christine!”

“When Christine mentioned doing a trip to South India many years ago, I told her I would be there. Covid came and went and she started the planning process again. This was my first time doing a group trip with over 25 people.

Christine has been one of my favorite people since I stumbled in her yoga class years ago. I took her yoga teacher training course and we have been connected ever since. Once I saw the itinerary of South India that she crafted, it solidified my decision even more that I must go on this trip. From traveling throughout South India to do yoga, visit temples, churches, donating money to a underprivileged school, getting Ayurvedic treatments, yoga with a yoga master, nature hikes, sunset cruises, cooking demos, and many surprises in which we had no idea we were doing that made this trip even more special.

The attention to detail and how smoothly everything flowed for 15 days was impeccable. I appreciate and applaud you for putting together a well organized trip. It's not an easy thing to do and you did it well!!

Special thanks to your hubby John who stood by your side and helped as well. His dad jokes kept everyone laughing or at least chuckle lol. It lightened up the mood.

The best tour guide I ever had in all my travels, Prince Charles. His humor, how he let us connect to locals, how he explained the culture from learning about the temples, Hindu, Shiva, how Christianity got started in India, even down to what the infamous head nods mean lol. Between his knowledge of his country and your knowledge and love for India, you two are the perfect dynamic duo.

And I cannot forgot to thank Sindhu, her and her staff showered us with the best hospitality as soon as we stepped off the bus at her resort on our last days in India. She went above and beyond for us and her other guests at the resort.

Thank you again Christine for sharing your two angels with us, Charles and Sindhu.
Thank you for showing us why you fell in love with India and now how it holds a special place in our hearts for various reasons as well.”

”I just got back from South India-a Journey through the Chakras with Christine and it was such an incredible experience!  The journey affected each of my senses and I am still digesting and enjoying  everything I came across. The intention, energy and love Christine poured into planning this journey is felt through every detail of the trip. Her partnership with Charles, an expert local guide, and his team is unmatched and truly helped shape this journey. The chakras and yoga are woven throughout the trip and are perfectly balanced with experiences and exploration of India. I can't imagine a better group or way to experience South India! When India calls, you must go-with Christine!”

“I was really looking forward to this trip, but it still exceeded expectations.  Christine and Charles had planned every detail and they often made critical adjustments “on the fly.”  Charles would spot a hade-made brick business on the side of the road and he would have our bus driver pull over so we could witness a man and a woman packing mud into molds with their bare hands and feet and setting the bricks out to dry in the sun.  We even met the third generation brick business owners and had a delightful conversation and connection with them.
The group traveling together were all delightful and accomplished people – some with no experience in yoga, but that didn’t stop them from joining into our sunrise practices.

The most amazing part of the trip I found was how Christine wove the theme of the chakras into each day of our trip.  She would teach a yoga class every other day focused on that chakra and she would discuss the areas we were visiting and host a meditation while we were riding on our comfortable bus from place to place.  Her quote from Sri Aurobindo about how the west is too focused on the lower chakras and the east is too much in the upper chakras, along with her observation that the heart connects the upper and lower chakras really helped bring the chakra construct to life for me.

I will be forever grateful for this beautiful journey through incredible India led by Christine and Charles, as well as the meaningful connections we all made with each other while discovering and connecting with this amazing land and delightful people.”

“I don't believe there are enough words to convey just how amazing this trip was. Even before we left we received a lot of information via e-mail and we had several Zoom meetings which included Charles from India. But nothing could prepare us for the magic of Mother India.
Christine, together with her friend Charles put together an adventure that included a bit of everything. A spiritual journey interlaced with a lot of fun experiences. India has so much to offer and they managed to give us a bit of it all. From the ancient temples with the beautiful carvings, the history, the great stories of the Hindu Gods and the temple ceremonies we were able to be part of, to having fun riding elephants and washing them, getting out on rickshaws to consume the local street food, visiting a spice plantation and learning about the different spices, watching silk weaving, bronze statue making etc. etc. just too much to mention.
We lodged in luxury accommodations, enjoyed great massages, ate plenty of delicious Indian food and even received cooking lessons.
The bus driver and his helper were experts in navigating the traffic and at times going off road to out of the way destinations.
India is the land of Yin and Yang. Amidst all the dust, dirt and crazy noise of the traffic there is a serenity that is hard to describe. It's in the eyes of the people, their smiles, the laugher of the children. It grabs you and turns you inside out. You can't help but falling in love with it all.
Words don't do it justice. You have to experience it.
Thank you Christine and Charles for all your hard work to making it possible. Love you, love India.”

“What an amazing trip!
I got back a few weeks ago, right before Easter and I have to admit I am still digesting my experiences. This was not my first trip to India, but my first time to the South. It was quite evident that Charles (our local tour guide) and Christine spent a great deal of time planning and prepping this journey.  Christine did an amazing job picking very nice hotels and organized a local yoga instructor to guide us through a couple of sessions. She thought of everything and there were a few lovely surprises she organized. The whole trip was so well planned. My advice is to attend Christine’s zoom sessions for the trip because all her advice is spot on. When you get to India, trust the process and allow yourself to experience India fully.  Remain flexible in mind and body.  It will be an amazing trip! Bon voyage!”
